Gorden was so excited to celebrate his fifth birthday. He has been anticipating turning five for so long now! I think he felt older that day right when he woke up. He loved the way his Wolverine cake turned out and had such a good time at his party with all his friends. He is into Transformers and got several for his birthday, but no two of the same. Kind of surprising but great! We played Charades for a while and that was a big hit. We tried to make Wolverine's claws for everyone's hand.... that kind of flopped. The girls didn't understand it and didn't care and most of the kids weren't able to put it all together themselves so they ended up waiting a lot while some of the moms helped fold and tape. Gorden really wanted to do some Wolverine craft but I didn't think that one through enough for this age level. Oh well. Now we know better for next time. =) Everyone just played and had a good time though. Gorden was happy!
