Random March Pictures

Adelaide fell and busted her lip pretty bad. She detached the piece of skin that holds her lip to her gums.... pretty painful. We called a good friend who is a Maxillofacial Surgeon and he said she should be fine. It won't grow back but it doesn't matter apparently. Dr. Burton said a lot of people actually have that part clipped.

One morning we went with some friends to the BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures for story time and an activity with clay. It turned out to be a really lame story that nobody understood, not even the parents. Afterward I overheard the girl who read the book talking and even she acted like they should have picked a different book. Then the "clay" turned out to be play dough and they taught the kids how to make snakes (rolling it into a long straight line) and bowls (rolling it into a circle then pushing your thumbs into the center to make a well). I think most of them probably already knew how to make those items. The fliers all over campus that we saw advertising this "event" stated that it was like an hour and a half long. After about twenty minutes we were all looking at each other saying, well that was it?!? Needless to say, except for the company, it was a big waste of time!! So we went over a block to the library for a while, and around here that is a very exciting place!

Hard to get a picture these days without his tongue sticking out

Also we got a different car! Now we're driving a Toyota Avalon. We loved our Honda CR-V but even more we love not having a payment!!! The kids think this car is so fast so they like it better. I guess they think that because its quieter and lower to the ground?? They also really appreciate the tinted windows and haven't complained yet about having sun in their eyes, because its not! Yay! Its also a lot more spacious. We're happy with it, and most of all, we don't have a payment!

Aw, poor Adelaide, dang that looks painful! But she still is so smiley and sweet (no surprise there!) Funny Gorden and his tongue!

And WOW, that car is sooo puuurdy! Totally jealous, we want a nicer, roomier, less payment-y car of our own one day! Great choice!

Exactly what happened to Adelaide is what happened to Austin's lip too. His little thingy isn't attached either. When it happened I freaked out because there was sooooo much blood and I couldn't get it to stop. Then they tell you it isn't a big deal. BlAH! WHATEVER! I am glad she's OK though.
