The Sweetest Thing

Tonight was an unusually difficult night for Adelaide. She was screaming bloody murder for a long time since we laid her down. Kelly and I both had been back to help her calm down without any luck and eventually we had to put Gorden to bed with his sister still bawling. So we did. We both went back to what we were doing (I was getting ready for work) and left Gorden to lay there while his sister screamed. Then the sweetest thing happened: i was putting in my contacts and below the screaming i heard a little voice singing "I am a child of God, and He has sent me here" then he would say "it's okay Adelaide, it's okay" then he'd sing a little more. It made me cry.

That about made me cry too. What a sweet little boy. He must have sweet parents who have taught him to be so caring.

That is sweet. Benjamin does similar things too because we almost always have to put benjamin to bed when rose is screaming. BTW, Benjamin absolutely loves your blog! He points at all the pictures and says, "there's Gorden, there's Adelaide!"

Oh that is so sweet, it made me cry too! What a wonderful big brother, I hope Caleb will be as good of a brother as Gorden.

Sweet is definitely the right word to describe that. It makes me miss my own siblings. What a special bond they have!
